Supporting Student Learning

Nicholas CartwrightI'm Nicholas Cartwright, I have an LLB (Dual Hons) in Law and Philosophy, an MPhil by thesis in law and a Post-graduate Certificate in Higher Education. I have over a decades experience lecturing law at some of the UK's top universities and abroad, including as a Teaching Fellow at the prestigous Universities of Keele and Reading. In 2008 I established the Online Law Lecturer, providing coursework support and tuition to undergraduate and postgraduate law students. In 2010 I established Legal Research Ltd, a company that offers my legal research, writing and education services to the media, professional lawyers, colleges, universities and law students. This year I have not only provided services to law students but have also worked with the BBC, the AQA examinaion board, Luton VIth Form College, Central Bedfordshire College and am currently leading an LLM in Human Rights for a top UK university. My research work has been published in academic law journals and national newspapers.

I offer coursework support and proofreading services - including writing model answers - as well as face-to-face tuition to students in the Midlands, London and the South East of England and online tuition to anyone studying English and Welsh or International law.

Services to Educational Institutions

I provide sessional and freelance lecturing to educational institutions and by approaching me directly, rather than using an agency, you may find you save money. Having worked with both the AQA and OCR A level exam board I have an excellent understanding of the A-level syllabus and have used this knowledge to great effect providing cover teaching for Luton VIth Form and Central Bedfordshire Colleges. As well as experience working as a full-time lecturer I have also worked for universities on a sessional basis and currently contract with a higher education institution to provide my services on a freelance basis leading their LLM module in Human Rights.
